About Phoenix & Kitten
Meet Phoenix (3yo Ginger) and Kitten (1yo Tabby), a bonded pair with a special relationship. These two boys are inseparable and must be adopted together, bringing double the love and companionship to their new family. Although quite hesitant at first, Phoenix and Kitten are easy-going, calm, and affectionate once they feel secure in their surroundings.
These indoor-only boys have never known the world beyond the front door, which means they'll need an indoor only home. New environments and new people might make them a bit apprehensive, but their bond with each other will help them adjust and flourish. Slowly but surely, their sweet and loving personalities will shine through as they grow more comfortable.
Phoenix and Kitten enjoy doing everything together, from cozying up for naps to exploring every corner of their indoor haven. Their reliance on each other shows in their synchronized movements and the unmistakable camaraderie they share. You’ll often find them snuggled up together, offering each other constant companionship and support.
Ideal for a tranquil and child-free home, these boys have lived harmoniously with a respectful canine friend in the past. Their calm demeanor makes them excellent companions for a serene household where they can enjoy a stress-free life filled with love and affection.
If you have a quiet home and a heart big enough for two, Phoenix and Kitten could be the perfect addition to your family. They promise to bring double the purrs, double the cuddles, and double the joy as they continue their journey together in a loving and secure environment.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
