About Grace
Meet Grace, a sweet little dog with a gentle heart who's searching for her family. Grace is a calm, quiet little old lady who loves being around her humans and enjoying a cozy snooze in the sun. She's very relaxed and hardly ever barks, making her an ideal companion for a peaceful household.
Grace does have a heart murmur that will need to be checked regularly, but it doesn't require medication at this stage. She's cautious when meeting new people, but with a little time and patience, she warms up quickly and will soon be asking for scratches and cuddles.
Currently, Grace is in foster care with two small dogs. While she could happily live with other small, gentle dogs, she'd also be content as the only pet in the home. Grace is a bit wary of bigger dogs and small children, so she's looking for a quiet home with adults who work from home or older children who can give her the attention and love she deserves.
Grace loves short walks down the street but prefers not to go too far as she tires easily. She enjoys quick runs down the driveway and then curling up on the couch for a snooze. At night, she sleeps in a bed next to her humans, and she knows how to use a doggy door and is fully toilet trained.
Grace is looking for a calm, loving environment where she can potter around the garden, bask in the sun, and be pampered in her golden years. If you're seeking a loyal companion to share your quiet moments and give you unconditional love, Grace could be the perfect match for you.

On the Pet Rescue profile, push the "Enquire About This Pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please tell us all about you and your home. Ensure you tell us about anything specific that you feel makes you a great match for this particular pet, or if you have specific requirements for a pet coming in to your home. Please note the following: We do not take applications for animals over the phone, as we are a small team and are trying our best to be fair to all applicants while creating the best outcomes for our animals. We aim to reply to all applications within 7 business days, and will confirm with all applicants once we have an adoption meet booked for the animal. All of our meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn, and all going well you will take home your pet on the day of the meet. The majority of our animals are in a foster home, not at the shelter, so you need to apply via the website to meet them.
