About Evie
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Evie sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!

Meet Evie, a delightful little explorer who’s as adventurous as she is affectionate. This social sweetheart is always up for some fun and will patiently wait for the right moment to purr and snuggle.
Evie is a climbing enthusiast who’s been known to scale her tall cat tree and even the clothes horse with impressive agility. She’s a curious kitty, always exploring her surroundings with the enthusiasm of a young adventurer. Her favourite activities include bird-watching from her perch, chasing balls, and playing with her teaser toy on a stick. And when it comes to treats, she’s a speedy little runner, darting over at the sound of a packet rustling.
Her days are filled with playful antics and tender moments. Evie is an indoor cat who delights in basking in sunlight and playfully chasing the occasional sunbeam. She currently happily coexists with an older cat and continues to bring her friendly and confident charm into their interactions.
Evie’s affectionate nature is heartwarming. She’ll follow you around, and while she may not leap onto your lap right away, she’ll choose to curl up beside you when she’s ready. Her purring is like a soothing engine, and her tail shivers when she’s excited will surely bring a smile to your face. Each morning, she’ll run to greet you with genuine joy, making your day start on a cheerful note.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
