About Coco and Cherry
If you’re looking for a couple of cute and cuddly companion dogs then may I introduce you to mother and daughter, Coco and Cherry. These girls are a bonded pair and were reluctantly surrendered. Their sweet natures attest to the love their former owner had for them. Being adult dogs, all the hard work has been done: they are fully toilet trained; sleep soundly all night; love to meet new people; walk gently on leash; only bark if a stranger approaches the house but stop when told (they are by no means yappy dogs); they love to be near their people; they get on well with other dogs both at the dog park and their current foster home but they can try to get all the attention. Although they have many features in common, they also have distinct personalities.
Coco is 7 years old and is a sweet and gentle girl with a beautiful sable coat. She is low maintenance, not a fussy eater, and she loves to curl up at your feet or beside you on the couch.
Cherry is 5 years old and has a dark coat with sable markings including on her paws and her striking eyebrows. Cherry is more adventurous and loves to fetch her ball, and when she returns it she puts it on the ground and nudges it towards you for more. She will even jump on your lap and put the ball in your hand. Her favourite place is being on someone’s lap.
These girls are small - each weighs about 6 kilos and they are predominately inside dogs, although they love to explore the garden and go for daily walks. They would suit a home that has more than one person and someone who is home more often than not as they love human company and getting lots of pats and cuddles. If you have any questions or would like to find out more about these special girls, their foster mum would love to have a chat with you. Preference will be given to adopters who live in the local area as these dogs are not crate trained and it is unsure how they would react to a long flight.
