About Keegan
Meet Keegan, a tall, dark, and undeniably handsome Tabby and white cat with the chunkiest cheeks and the saddest eyes that will melt your heart. At 4 years old, Keegan is a big boof who is yearning for his forever home where he can be cherished and truly be a part of the family.
Keegan's ideal home is one where he can enjoy the best of both worlds-indoor comfort and outdoor adventures. He needs a safe, secure area attached to the house where he can relax and watch the world go by. His favorite pastime is lounging in cozy spots, so a nice sunny spot or a comfy bed would make him the happiest cat.
This big softy would thrive in a family with children over the age of 8 who understand the importance of giving him time to settle in and feel at home. Keegan is a gentle giant who will form deep bonds with his human family, offering endless love and companionship in return.
Keegan prefers to be the sole feline in the household, where he can soak up all the love and attention without any competition. His affectionate nature and soulful eyes make him impossible to resist. If you are looking for a loving, loyal, and gentle cat to welcome into your home, Keegan is the perfect match. Give this sweet boy the chance to be a part of your family, and he will reward you with a lifetime of love and purrs.
To book a meet and greet with Keegan please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
