About Hercules
Well hi, how's it going people? I'm really hoping you've clicked on my bio and ready to read.
I am Hercules, a gorgeous loving 4 year and 9 month old Cavoodle.
My foster mum tells me that I am a 'charming boy who is a bundle of love, joy, confidence, and snuggles'
I am what some people would call a social butterfly (my foster mum says I'm always winning the hearts of people everywhere I goes (even the vets you will see me with a smile and a wiggle of my butt to the nurses as I arrive) I am a boy who adores meeting new people and making friends. My foster mum says that despite m y bold nature, I do have to advise that I am as quiet as a mouse and rarely bark.
I love nothing more than being by your side, whether that's on the lounge, in bed, or on a car ride adventure. I've been told I'm a total cuddle bug and will snuggle up next to you in a heartbeat.
I am a perfect gentleman and something could a all rounder with getting on with other dogs, cats and kids!
I am also toilet trained
I currently weigh 6.5kgs
I am well-behaved on the lead and will do a butt wiggle when meeting new people.
Now I do have to advise you some important stuff - I have a dry eye condition so it means I have to have daily eye drops - they are honestly a walk in the park and I'm so used to having them that when my foster mum calls saying 'Hercules, come get your drops' you will see me do a little jump and a wiggle and then line up ready to have them - my foster mum says I'm zero issue with them and just a tiny part of her daily routine.
My favorite words are "dinner time" and "it's bed time. "
I happily adapt in most surroundings but would love a home with another small dog I can snuggle up with and some kids to cuddle with - and even for them to play some ball with me - I love that!
I don't need someone home 24/7 but hey I would enjoy having someone home or works from home or a mum and dad who are stay home but that's just for some company and love but if you did work and I was home with my fur siblings I would happily sleep my day away and then explore outside when I want too while your off working.
I love short walks ,a run around the back yard, playing fetch or snoozing in the sun.
I do require regular grooming so please make sure that you do remember that it’s a lifetime of grooming and I look so pretty when I'm groomed and all neat :-)

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
