About Peggy
Meet PEGGY. A cat who will be little trouble. Why? Because she has 3 functional legs.
Peggy had a rough and difficult start to life. When she arrived to Ark she had broken her first joint in her front leg when she was a kitten. Ark took her in and gave her the veterinary care she needed. It was advised to keep her leg without removing it, however this just means she has a gamy leg and walks with a limp. She doesn’t really jump which keeps her out of trouble and her foot is a little malformed.
What does this mean for Peggy? Well she’s a slow girl, doesn’t like to jump, doesn’t cause any trouble but enjoys pats and likes to know she is loved. Her leg is no trouble to her but she may develop arthritis later in life. But she will live an expected life like any other cat and her leg won’t hold her back.
She is a Domestic long hair. Semi long coat marked with the patterns known as the “classic” tabby, with boldly defined dark whorls. Her hair is growing back after veterinary care.
Peggy would love a forever family. Someone she knows she can be forever loved and cared for. Don’t let her gamy leg hold her back from finding a person to love forever. She deserves a happy ending.
