About Valentine
Valentine is Desexed, Vaccinated (until March 2026), and you and your family are very welcome to arrange a meeting to see if Val is the right girl for you!
Valentine is a very graceful and curious young lady who would be perfectly suited to an older person in a quieter household, plus excellent company for another cat/s or cat-safe dog/s. Once she trusts you, Val is an affectionate and interactive companion, but she is not a cat who likes to be restrained as she panics, so not recommended for children.
Valentine dislikes being carried around (until she trusts you), but loves pats, brushes, food treats, and of course a sunny windowsill! Flying insects will keep her occupied for hours, plus she does love a laser light or chase toy - natural hunting instincts are strong with this one!
Val needs mental stimulation to be her best self and I would recommend having a cat safe/secure yard for her to explore only under supervision. Val always keeps me company when I'm at the clothesline, gardening or just having a cuppa outside. However, you would need to have her for a few months, and know her behavior/reactions well, before taking her outside.
The reduced adoption fee is $160 and Valentine is:
MEDICAL: Due to pain and inflammation of her gums/teeth, DCH funded Val to have major dental surgery in January 2026, which was completed very successfully, and she is now a healthy 3yr old cat. Valentine has had many teeth removed and is now pain-free and living her best life, which does not affect at all, the foods she eats.
If you have any questions or if you are interested in meeting Valentine, please get in touch. Just include in your email, whether you’ve owned cats before, and why you’re genuinely interested in adopting Valentine.
Medical notes
MEDICAL: Valentine had successful dental surgery in January 2026 (funded by DCH), to remove pain and inflammation of her gums/teeth. Val is now a healthy 3yr old cat.
