About Wilson
Wilson is a VERY soft, sweet and incredibly handsome cavalier boy! He’s friendly, gentle and so eager to be your bestie, with all pats much appreciated. Wilson has the temperament to make a wonderful therapy dog, with many years of love ahead of him.
Weighing 6kg, Wilson is a sturdy Blenheim chap who’d be happy in either a family or individual home. He’ll thrive in an environment where someone is home often or where he has another dog for companionship. He has started basic obedience training (sit, stay, walking on a leash, recall) and is making flying improvements already in his foster home.
Wilson is friendly, playful and sociable with dogs of all sizes and is also very gentle and kind with children. While we’re unsure how he interacts with cats, his trainable nature suggests he would adapt quickly.
Wilson is mostly toilet trained but still needs regular opportunities to go outside to avoid accidents. He’s accustomed to spending time both indoors and outdoors and is comfortable sleeping in a crate at night. We recommend continuing this in his new home initially to help him adjust and to give you peace of mind, ensuring you know exactly where your pet is during the night while you both get to know each other.
Wilson has a fine, low maintenance coat and the occasional brush or trip to the groomer's during Summer is all he’d need. Alternatively he could be clipped shorter too, if that’s your preference.
This beautiful fellow would be a well-suited new addition to a family/person that can provide him with the love and attention he craves.
He is currently housed in Orange, NSW, and he’s busting to make someone's life happier with his delightful presence.
If you can offer Wilson a kind, loving, caring home please send an enquiry through via Pet Rescue telling us a bit about yourself, your home and your lifestyle.
Medical notes
Wilson has been desexed and is up to date with his vaccinations & worming treatment. He has also had a full vet check, which showed Wilson has a Grade 2 heart murmur. He doesn't require treatment/management at this stage but might do as an older dog. The vet advised his life expectancy remains the same. We recommend having a chat to your own vet though if this is a concern.

Tell us about the home and lifestyle you can offer Wilson.
We are interested in your family situation (who is in your family) their work/study hours, how long the dog would be left alone during a typical week.
What you can offer a dog in terms of activities, outings and training.
If you have other pets - in lots of cases we look favourably on a home with an existing dog or the possibility of adding another dog at a later stage (the exception would be if the dog being rehomed is not so good with other dogs).
