About Heidi
Heidi's new home would be best to have the following.
- For Heidi to live an inside only life style with the exception of a cat friendly out door enclosure.
- At least one other cat in the home.
- A family that is after an affectionate cat, and has time for lots of cuddles.
Heidi is a sweet, affectionate, attentive cat who loves her people a great deal. And she would love to find a home where someone appreciates those qualities! She gets along with any other friendly cats in the house and really craves their company. She won’t play with them but loves a happy crowd of felines none the less. She isn’t suited to be in an only cat household.
Gregarious would be a very fitting word for her!
She has no problem living with respectful, calm dogs, and is litter trained.
Heidi needs to live as an inside cat to help keep her safe from traffic and other dangers. She would very much enjoy having access to an outdoor cat-safe enclosure!

*All cats and kittens adopted through Pyrenees Animal Rescue are only available to homes where they will be kept indoors or in a secure cat run/enclosure. A yard with fencing is not enough to keep an adventurous cat contained, or safe from dogs and traffic. *

Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
