Oh Harry, how we love thee! Harryâs beginnings we cannot believe, how could humans let him down like this!? Clearly, he had been cared for by someone as he was socialised, and we know that little Harry loves his time with his humans. Harry was disgustingly dumped in a park and was found chasing a friendly couple screaming for food taking no notice of all the dogâs and danger that surrounded him. They had dumped him knowing exactly what would happen to himâŠNOT OKAY!
When we met Harry, we couldnât resist his beautiful nature as he literally just melted into our arms and fell asleep as soon as we picked him up. He was exhausted and clearly relieved to be safe, warm loved and with a full belly. We were fortunate to save little Harry just in the nick of time and we have been able to show him truly what love really is.
We treated Harry for worms, gave him a hot shower, a blow dry and got all his vet work up to date. Upsettingly, what we soon discovered was that little Harry had little vision, as when we waved our hands in front of his face - he had no response. But what we quickly worked out was that Harry can still get around like the little monkey he is đ despite his limited vision. He isnât completely blind, and we arenât entirely sure what happened to him. We suspect that it might be that he has juvenile cataracts and maybe 5% vision, but he is a perfectly happy and healthy little boy! We just love him. The vets have confirmed that he will live a perfectly happy and healthy life and he needs nothing extra medically due to this impairment.
Here are answers to questions you might have about our little man Harry!
- Is Harry affectionate? He is indeed. He loves a scratch under the chin and a cuddle, what we love it that he tells you if he is in the mood or not for it! Haha â he likes to communicate verbally at times!
- Does Harry love his food? OMG, does he ever, he loves it and tells you when he is ready to eat and eats every last morsel.
- Does Harry get along with other cats or even dogs? He certainly does, he even plays with our other kitten Priscilla and cat Boo. They play with toys and wrestle; it is so sweet. We have 2 dogs that he is used to being around and there are no issues at all. He even has been kittysat by our friend who has a dog, and they all happily co-exist with no issues.
- Do you think Harry would rather be the only cat or would rather be with another kitty? We feel that he could be happy either way as long as he is lovely and in the right environment.
- Can Harry go up and down stairs on his own? Sure can he finds his way wonderfully.
- How would you describe Harry? Harry is a placid, independent, loving little boy. He will sometimes choose to sit with you and sometimes just be on his own. Because he has very little vision, you can tell that he is more in tune with his other senses.
- What kind of home to do you think would best suit Harry? Harry is a quiet, sweet boy so a home without very young children absolute chaos we think would be best. He is a perfectly happy and healthy boy, and he can only go to the most special of homes.
- Does Harry know how to find his food and litter box? He certainly does, he does this perfectly and has never had an accident.
- Can Harry climb cat trees? He sure can and in fact frequently makes his way all the way to the top! However, sometimes he does need a little bit of assistance getting down.
Please reach out to Meet this beautiful boy today! He is truly special đ

Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house, and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups, and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat-proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you peace of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you donât have to worry about the expense.
We start by emailing you either our adoption questionnaire or the online link to it. We like to have a chat on the phone to obtain some details about who you are and what youâre looking for in a feline companion. We also request a video tour of your home with an emphasis on safety features including screens, windows, and balconies. We also like to see where your new kitty will eat and sleep. Once the online form has been completed, the next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the kitty at his or her foster home.
