About Bella
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
This beautiful little lady is very sweet, very gentle, very affectionate and very loving.
We were initially told that Bella was aloof, independent and not at all loving but that just has not been the case. Sadly we're beginning to think that she may not have been well loved and may have been neglected and left outside, where she was out of the way, in her previous home as she came to us very dirty and matted.
She has since had a bit of grooming done and looks very comical with her shortened coat. She didn't really like that part so her new style is a bit all over the place lol.
Since Bella has arrived in her foster home she has become VERY affectionate and has been demanding attention. She has become very talkative and will give you a good head bonk and rub up against you when she's in the mood for a pat and a cuddle. She has also really bonded with the carers teenage daughter and you'll often see her rubbing up against her wanting a pat, while she's playing video games.
She can be a little shy at first, like most cats, but becomes very smoochy once she gets to know you. This little lady has a lot of love to give and we'd love to find a caring person who can give her the life that she deserves.
She comes from an indoor / outdoor environment where she was able to come and go as she pleased and do her business outside but Bella has been living indoors in a unit since arriving and seems to be adjusting just fine.
She apparently comes from a household with other animals but so far does not like the resident dog, and being an older lady we're thinking a home were she can be the only cat in the household and rule over her kingdom might be the way to go.
She would make an awesome companion for a retiree or someone that lives alone and would love a bit of company. Bella is a gentle soul and will bring some lucky person a lot of joy for years to come.
Bella is approximately 10.5 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little lady with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
