About Kodi
We’re told Kodi is a pure bred Blue Heeler "Bluey" with no papers, so if you’re after a smart, happy, excitable dog who loves attention, she might be the one for you. She loves to play with her ring and tennis balls and will hold them in her mouth and flick them around. She adores cuddles, tummy rubs and scratches—even better when done in your lap. She would thrive with daily walks and room to play outside—chasing the water coming out of the hose is a great game!. While she has been OK being left alone all day, she is a companion dog at heart and would prefer an owner she could follow around and be with all the time.
Kodi is brilliant on lead (no pulling and sits when you stop), and is great with all dogs. She has lived in a busy household —6 adults, 2 smaller dogs and cats, but has proven selective with cats and needs to be supervised around them. She can be a bit jumpy and nippy (typical Heeler traits) so we would recommend against an adopter with very young kids, or anyone physically frail. Kodi has lived as either an inside or outside dog.
If you can provide the enrichment that working dog breeds need to flourish, please apply to adopt Kodi today.
