Moe

Meet Moe, a gentle and bashful black cat seeking a patient and loving home. Moe needs a calm and gradual introduction to his new environment, starting in a small, secure room before exploring the rest of the house. Large, open spaces can be overwhelming for him.

To make Moe feel at home, provide him with plenty of safe spaces such as scratch posts, cat trees, and cozy hides like cardboard boxes and cat igloos. He also appreciates access to high and low shelves for added security. Older children who understand basic cat body language and can give Moe the space he needs will be ideal.

Moe was found as a stray with three other cats, so he may do well with other cats with a slow, gradual introduction. He might also adjust to a calm, social dog, but interactions should be monitored closely.

Though initially fearful and overwhelmed, Moe has begun to come out of his shell in a safe space. He enjoys gentle attention, returning soft blinks, and leaning into your touch. His favorite treat is roast chicken.
