Jesse 💝5yo Jack Russell Terrier(On Trial 26/8/24)

Fun Loving Jesse is a perfect little girl to keep you company at home and on walks. She is a 5yo, Jack Russell Terrier, happy, healthy, and playful. She is also very sweet and affectionate and loves to sit with you. She is passionate about playing tug and fetch and will return the ball ⚾ or toy to you to throw again and again. She has an adorable habit of holding her paw on the toy when she drops it at your feet so you can easily pick it up to throw again. Such a cutie 😇.

She is quite small at only 4kg and very quick and agile. She’s always the first dog to retrieve the ball . She can easily jump onto a chair or your lap. She loves to snuggle into your shoulder or sit on your lap at every opportunity.

Jesse is used to living with other dogs so she’d be a great companion for your current dog so long as they don’t want to take her ball during fetch. She’d also be fine on her own if there is someone home most of the time. She will add a spark of joy and fun to any home!

Jesse loves going for walks and walks beautifully on harness and lead. She is confident and curious and trots along happily enjoying life to the fullest. She loves food and treats so is easy to train.

She is an inside dog and needs to be welcome inside and to sleep inside. She is housetrained and good in the car 🚗. She isn’t a nuisance barker but will let you know when someone comes to your door.

We haven’t see Jesse with children but she is gentle so we think she will love any child that will throw a toy for her! However, I don’t think she’d enjoy a busy household with children under 8 years old. She’d be fine with young visitors and school aged kids though. Jesse hasn’t been tested with cats but if you have a cat and would like us to test her we can arrange it.

💝 Jesse has a low maintenance coat, just needing some brushing and a bath every now and again. Jack Russells commonly live to around 16 so Jesse still has many, many years to share with her forever family. She recently had her teeth cleaned.

• Fine to live with other friendly dogs.
• Fine as an only dog if there is someone who most of the time.
• No resident children under 8 years old, but visitors are fine.
• Enjoys a daily walk.
• Needs a fenced yard for playing fetch.

Jesse is in foster care in Belmont, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle). She’s available for adoption to the east coast states but you will need to come meet her and drive her back with you.

Her adoption fee is $600 and she’s desexed, recently vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
