About Almond
Meet Almond, a loving, playful, and hilarious kitten with beautiful tabby markings that frame his expressive eyes and face. His super soft coat is perfect for cuddling, and he's truly a joy to have around.
Almond's favourite activities include playing tug of war with a wand toy, batting around balls or marbles, and snuggling with his human family or his siblings once he's expended all his energy. He's an energetic little fellow, but he has an incredible capability for forming strong bonds with those around him.
His loyalty shows when he's not near his humans—Almond will miaow like a lonely puppy until he finds companionship again. He does have a few dislikes; the noisy vacuum cleaner can be a bit too much for him, and he really doesn't enjoy being away from his favourite people.
Almond's whimsical personality really shines through in his favourite hangout spots. He loves making a hammock out of a blanket draped over his human's legs, playing with his siblings on the cat tower, and gazing out the window, curiously watching the world go by.
Having grown up in a household with children, Almond is used to being played with and picked up, making him a great fit for families with kids. His friendly nature extends to other pets as well, and he interacts amicably with other cats and even dogs in his foster home.
During his time in foster care, Almond has shown impressive adaptability and social growth. His ideal home would be one where he can enjoy plenty of playtime and cuddles. If you're looking for a loving kitten who will bring endless joy and affection into your life, Almond might just be the perfect match for you.
Almond is in good health and currently resides in Little Bay. If you're interested in bringing this delightful kitten into your home, please visit the adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
