About Agate
Meet Agate, the sweet, snuggly, and purr-tastic kitten who is ready to find a new family to charm with her delightful personality! With her super soft black and white coat that's just a tad extra fluffy, Agate is as adorable as they come. Her kitten antics and loving nature make her a perfect companion for any cat lover.
Agate loves to play, and she's happiest when she's engaged in a good game. She has a particular fondness for playing in the bag of kindling sticks, where she delights in the rustling sounds and chasing imaginary prey. Another favourite pastime is trying to catch the elusive laser light point, always determined to finally capture that mysterious red dot. And of course, she purrs contentedly whenever you come near her for a pat, showcasing her affection and sweet demeanor.
Agate isn't too fond of loud noises, especially the noisy vacuum cleaner, which she prefers to avoid. But she more than makes up for it with her love for cozy napping in her donut bed, her playful antics on the cat tower with her siblings, and her bold pounces on the unsuspecting from the scratching post. Growing up in a home with children, Agate has become accustomed to being played with and picked up frequently, making her well-suited for a family with kids.
In her foster home, Agate has shown her social side by interacting positively with her fellow feline siblings. She's a confident kitten who has thrived with the love and care she's received so far. Her ideal forever home would be one where she can continue to receive plenty of attention, playtime, and of course, lots of snuggles. A loving family that enjoys interactive play and cherishes their pets will be the perfect match for this little purr machine.
Agate is healthy and currently located in Little Bay. If you think you can provide the loving, playful environment that Agate needs, please reach out through the provided adoption enquiry form: https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
