Meet Peanut, a delightful and affectionate dog searching for a new family to shower with love. Peanut has been a cherished pet for the past half-year, and despite his current family's severe allergies that necessitate rehoming, he has left a lasting impression with his warm and loving nature. This friendly and playful dog is currently living in a townhouse but would love a more spacious environment.

Peanut is a social butterfly who thrives in the company of other dogs and people. He was previously in foster care with another greyhound and managed well when left alone with his canine companion for an entire workday. Nowadays, Peanut doesn't have much alone time, but his independent whimsy and adaptable nature suggest he could gracefully adjust to longer separations as long as he has access to a garden and possibly a doggy friend.

Peanut is excellent with children, especially those aged six and older. He is patient and tolerates a little prodding with ease. He's also walked on a loose lead and is responsive to commands like "stop," "wait," and "okay, go," although he does have a quirky habit of avoiding straight-line walking—adding a dose of humour to your walks together.

This friendly canine has excellent manners; he's toilet trained and can hold it overnight for up to 10 hours. Peanut is known to be very social with other dogs, and you'll often find him making new friends; his best friend is a Great Dane, which speaks volumes about Peanut's desire to connect and play.

His verbal, attention-seeking nature means he's never shy to let you know when he wants cuddles or when he's simply excited to see you. At night, you'll enjoy his affectionate cuddles and playful spirit, and you'll find it endearing when he purrs like a cat during moments of happiness and comfort.
