Are you wanting a Dachshund friend who’s as sweet as he is snuggly? Meet Walter, smooth chocolate male Dachshund with a heart full of love and a passion for cozy cuddles! 

About Walter:
•       Age: 4 years in December
•       Desexed male, wormed, vaccinated
•       Very intelligent and quick learner
•       Does not like to be left alone for long periods of time, (he can be destructive if left alone for too long).
•       Toilet trained if you have a doggy door.
•       Personality is super cuddly, affectionate, and loves being close to his humans (takes a little too warm to strangers)
•       Okay with older children 
•       Playful: He enjoys playing with his toys and is always up for a game.
•       Loves the beach
•       Loves walking, lead trained
•       Loves car rides
•       Dog friendly (would suit having another dog live with him)
•       Very protective of his home and family members
•       Affectionate: He’ll follow you around and keep you company with his warm, loving presence.
•       Not good with birds and chickens.
•       Not tested with cats, (apparently previous owner had cat - not 100% sure)

Walter needs a loving home where someone is around most of the time and a playful companion to keep him entertained and to give him company.
Walter is the perfect boy for those chilly nights when all you want is a warm, wiggly friend curled up next to you. He thrives in an environment where he’s not left alone for long periods and would love a home where he can share his love and companionship every day.
