Goofy Gary

Well G'day, my name is Goofy Gary, could I just have your attention for one minute?

I've come into the shelter as a stray with no owner in sight and now I am ready to find a special family to make me one of their own.

The reason for my name 'Goofy Gary' has a lot to do with my silly personality... I LOVE to play and go zooming around with new toys or a good tennis ball.

Even though I have a lot of energy being a working dog breed, my demeanour is actually very gentle and I could go home with younger kids (primary school aged) as long as I can meet them and give them a tester cuddle before we go home together.

I've also been told that I walk beautifully on lead, I'm a smart guy with the ability to learn lots of fun tricks if you have the patience for it.

I want to be the centre of your world and I will need to be the only dog baby in the home, other canines can make me nervous so any help with me managing these feelings would make me so happy- the staff at LDH will give you some tips on this!

Imagine this, it's a warm summer day and us playing tug of war or ball in the backyard or private space making fun-filled memories and loving eachothers company.
