Meet Bobby, a young German Shepherd just reaching a year old, he was surrendered to us at the end of July.
It's clear that Bobby has not been treated the best for the first year of his life and he has not been shown the love that he deserves but he remains positive and chooses to trust, it just takes time.

Bobby will thrive in a home with Adults Only, it may take him a little bit longer to warm up to you given his history but once he does this boy will lean into you for pats and give you sweet kisses to show his trust in you- a golden moment.

This boy loves treats and this is a perfect ice breaker when you are introducing yourself or if you are showing him new environments, his confidence will grow and you have many years to show him how beautiful the world and being loved can be.

Bobby has shown some pro-social signs with other dogs so may be able to go home with a suitable, well-matched dog providing the meet and greet goes well but ideally, he would be the only fur baby in the home so he can soak up all of your love and attention.

Boys like Bobby deserve so much more than what they have been given, he remains hopeful that his new home will be his forever abode and he can understand the meaningful bond behind humans and their canine babies.
