About Emmy
Meet Emmy, a delightful 6-year-old female Cavalier with an outgoing nature and a personality that will steal your heart. Emmy is an absolute joy to be around, effortlessly capturing everyone's attention with her affectionate demeanor and inquisitive spirit. Whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or lounging around the house, Emmy is the perfect companion.
Emmy is excellent on a lead and enjoys her daily walks, often greeting everyone along the way with an enthusiastic tail wag and a hop for pats and attention. She is splendid around people and demonstrates her good manners by sitting for treats. Emmy has a gentle spirit and is exceptionally loyal, making her the ideal dog for a family or individual seeking a loving, constant presence.
In terms of social dynamics, Emmy does well with submissive dogs and would truly benefit from having a quiet canine friend in the home. Although she can be a little bossy around more dominant dogs, her playful spirit and desire for companionship shine through. Do note, she does have an inquisitive nature and may chase cats, so a cat-free home or a household with dog-savvy cats would be best.
Emmy's outgoing personality makes her an engaging and lovable pet. She would thrive in an environment that offers a balanced mix of activity and relaxation, ideally suiting a family with another calm dog or a single person looking for a warm-hearted companion. Every day with Emmy is a delightful experience filled with love, loyalty, and a whole lot of cuddles. If you're searching for a friendly, loving dog with a touch of playful mischief, Emmy is the girl for you.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
