About Mungojerrie
Meet Mungojerrie,
Mungojez is a gentle and chatty boy. He is friendly, outgoing & confident. A curious chap with a lovely social and affectionate nature. He loves to head bunt you & engage in pats & cuddles.
He is suitable for first time cat owners, or those with experience all thanks to his easy-going cattitude. He is also fine to live in any household environment.
He is open to meeting kids of any age as he loves to be picked up & cuddled and loves to be petted all over his body. Where specifically? EVERYWHERE!
Mungojerrie is curious about the other cats in the cattery & is open to make new friends. We always encourage a slow & gradual interaction though.
As we cannot test in this environment, it is hard to tell if he will be ok to live with or meet dogs. This would be up to the discretion of his new owners.
We would say that Mungojez is best to be an indoor only cat, a confident boy like him has a high possibility of wandering off to strut his stuff around the neighbourhood which puts him at risk of getting lost, injured or worse. He can still be his confident self inside the home and rule the house like the King he is, or a catio/cat enclosure is a safe alternative where he can take in the great outdoors without the risks.
Mungo has medium energy needs and he doesn't really seem too interested in toys (apart from a ping pong ball where he will happily bat it around his condo) he'd rather hang out with his carers and soak up all of their love & adoration.
Mungojerrie is not fussy & will eat whatever he can get his paws on to! He is also exceptionally tidy, always using his litter tray like a pro!
If you're looking for a cat that you can have a conversation with then Mungojez is your man! He loves to discuss how his day was with you.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
