Meet Tigger, a shy but sweet girl looking for a patient and understanding home where she can truly flourish. Tigger loves company and lots of pats. She will come out to greet you with her sweet little meows as you come into the room and loves long gentle pats. When she isn't getting pats, Tigger will find nice comfy spot nearby to relax and enjoy your company <3

To Set Tigger Up for Success:

Start in a Small Launch Room: Begin by setting Tigger up in a small, cozy space to help her adjust. She can become overwhelmed in large open areas, so gradual introductions are important.
Safe Spaces Needed: Provide scratch posts, cat trees, and hiding spots like cardboard boxes or cat igloos. Ensure she has access to shelves or dressers for high and low safe spaces throughout the house.
Patient and Understanding Adopter: Tigger will benefit from a patient adopter who recognizes that she may be timid initially. She will need time to settle in and reveal her true self.
Teens/Older Children Recommended: A home with teens or older children who can understand basic cat body language and respect Tigger's need for space would be ideal.

About Tigger:

Tigger was surrendered when her previous owner could no longer keep her due to a move. Initially, she was scared and overwhelmed, often hiding. She is now starting to come out of her shell, enjoying gentle pats and bunting. Tigger appreciates long, quiet sessions with a calm human and responds well to soft blinks and gentle conversation.
