About Milo (63798)
Milo is a young, super cute, small poodle mixed breed dog with an outgoing, bubbly personality. His motto could easily be "a stranger is simply a friend you haven't met yet." He found his way to GAWS as a lost dog in a terrible situation, with his entire coat matted and dirty, and without knowing how to behave appropriately in the company of others. Milo is smart, trainable, and willing to follow rules once he understands them clearly. His ideal home will be with someone who values rules and boundaries, has breed experience, and will enjoy continuing his education and training. In his foster home, Milo has successfully been house trained, crate trained, travels well in a vehicle, walks nicely on a leash, and has learned good manners and some basic obedience. He has been living with a confident, socially tolerant, and trustworthy mentor dog but struggles at times with sharing his people, wanting to be the sole recipient of attention and affection. For this reason, it will be best if there are no other pets or dependents in his new home. There's been a great deal to address, but Milo has shown an aptitude for learning and has a bright future in the right home. Milo is a special individual with greater needs than most and comes with ongoing support from GAWS to ensure his success. If you would like to learn more about Milo and think you have what it takes to make this delightful little dog's world complete, please submit your application. We'd love to hear from you.
