About Tonka (64001)
Tonka is a happy puppy looking for a home that will commit to the basic needs of a puppy. Tonka came to GAWS as a surrender after being too much for the little children in the home. He has proven to be a normal playful puppy, who needs a committed home to show him the rules and boundaries of home life. Tonka is very social with other dogs and needs to continue these skills, however he needs to be the only dog in the home to concentrate on his needs and training. He has proven to be too much for cats and pocket pets but may suit a home with dog savvy kids 6 years and older who can handle a puppy. Tonya needs some work on his lead skills and remaining calm when passing dogs as with maturity this may become an issue. A short stay in foster showed he could easily be crate trained and is working on house training. He is a genuinely sweet boy who loves life, so if you think you can take this ray of sunshine on please apply!
