About Lucy
Lucy is a super affectionate and cheeky girl who, despite her tough start, has made remarkable progress. She’s still building her confidence, but with the right love and care, she’ll continue to blossom. Once she warms up to you (after a slow intro), you’ll find a loyal companion who adores cuddles, tummy rubs, and lounging around watching your favourite TV shows. Lucy also has a playful side and loves her toys.
Lucy will come desexed, microchipped, and will be up-to-date with vaccinations, flea, and worming treatments. She’s looking for a special home that can meet her needs:
🐾 A patient family with rescue experience who understands the journey of helping a fearful dog gain confidence.
🐾 A secure home with 6-foot colorbond fencing.
🐾 Someone who’s home more often than not, providing the companionship she craves.
🐾 A cat-free household.
🐾 Open to a home with another confident, well-mannered medium to large breed dog who can help guide her (pending a successful meet and greet).
🐾 A good leader who can show her that life is full of love and safety.
🐾 Commitment to ongoing training, as she’s still young and eager to learn.
If you’re ready to offer Lucy the understanding and loving home she deserves, please reach out for more information at adoptpar@gmail.com. This sweet girl is ready to become your best friend and lifelong companion.🧡🐾

Adoption details
Animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention / and also FIV tested for cats where possible. They are not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). Please email par.adoptions@gmail.com if you would like further information.
Dogs and cats are rehomed on two weeks trial to ensure that both the person adopting them and the rescuer are satisfied that the dog / cat / animal is happy and adapting well to their new home and this can be extended on request
Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
Providing quality information as a part of your enquiry including information about your home environment, family, work hours, other pets and what you are looking for in a companion animal along with what you can offer one will greatly assist.
Please always provide a contact phone number as a part of your enquiry.
