My name is Olive and “Let us dine together – on you!”.

I am around 2 years old and my breeding is a bit of a mystery. I am believed to have traits of being a Staffy X Australian Cattle Dog, but really – I am one of a kind! I am a medium sized dog weighing 22kg.

I came into Paws For Life with my friend Popeye (who I think is pretty neat). So, I do like having a friend around – however I would need to meet them first to make sure we are pals. I am a bit of a shy girl at first, but once I warm up to you, I love to follow you around and investigate all the things you are doing. I do need some encouragement and someone confident to lead the way in new situations as I tend to think “Oh dear!”.

The staff have discovered that I LOVE water. Rain, hail or shine you will find me splashing around in my paddle pool or tipping my water bowl over so I can get my paws wet! I do like a play and a run and I also really enjoy chicken necks and just about any snack you can give me.

I enjoy the company of the staff and don’t mind following them around or watching them work from a comfy spot in the sun. I also quite enjoy checking out the feed room and wouldn’t mind trying to con you into sharing your lunch! Like my friend Popeye, I also really enjoy peanut butter biscuits and just about anything else you may have on offer.

My ideal home is with an owner that has had previous dog experience because I haven’t had too much exposure to the big wide world and can be a little unsure in new situations. While the staff are working with me, I do require gentle guidance to help build my confidence. I would suit a variety of different households however and really do just want to be “part of the gang”.

My adoption fee is $450 which includes microchipping, up to date vaccinations, desexing, flea & worm treated and lifetime registration in NSW.
