About Lavender
A little disabled cat who needs someone special to adopt her - surely there is someone in Melbourne willing to help.
Lavender is a lovely little cat who needs a little extra care and needs someone special to commit to her.
We are looking for advice, experience and a loving home for her.
Lavender came into care as a scared little kitten with a tail pull injury, ringworm, terrified and just a broken soul. She had her tail amputated and it has been a long journey of recovery and support since.
She is partially incontinent and will need someone who can support her with this. There are many options and ways around it. She does use the litter most of the time but other times she can’t and needs patience and support.
Lavender is such a social, sweet, friendly, special and adorable cat! She has so much to offer and is so appreciative of all the love that she receives.
She is on a very inexpensive medication to help with her nerve damage and must continue to be on this.
You can tell from the photos what a total character and love bug she truly is. Many cats like her are euthanised for being “too damaged” we strongly disagree that any animal should be euthanised unless they are suffering and it becomes a quality of life debate. Lavender has the best little life, she just needs some extra support to live it.
Lavender is desexed, vaccinated, flea/worm treated, microchipped and 50/50 litter trained.
Clearly, she is a very hard cat to rehome and we are really seeking any assistance. If you are a special soul, with the right heart please reach out to adopt Lavender or fill out an application below.
