Meet Mocha, a sweet dog who has had a challenging start and is currently in need of a patient and understanding adopter. Initially extremely fearful and difficult to handle, Mocha spent much of her time hiding under a bed or in a carrier crate. With the help of the Behavior team, she began to show signs of confidence, allowing handling and interacting playfully. However, she has a long journey ahead to leave her previous fearful state behind.

Mocha requires a calm and secure environment where she can gradually build trust and regain her confidence. With time, patience, and gentle care, Mocha has the potential to become a loving and loyal companion. She is more confident around other dogs, so would love a calm, confident doggy friend! She deserves a special home that will provide her with the stability and kindness she needs to thrive.
