About Kiera
Meet Kiera: Your Future Furry Best Friend! đŸ
Name: Kiera
Age: 1 year and 10 months
Breed: Labrador cross
Coat: Beautiful blonde short hair
About Me:
Hi there! I'm Kiera, a lovable Labrador mix with a heart of gold and a gorgeous blonde coat. I'm on the lookout for a forever family who can match my playful energy and give me lots of love and attention.
My Ideal Home:
I'm crate trained and house trained, which means I already have some great manners! I love having a crate as my safe space, so I'd love to have one in my new home. It's my little sanctuary where I can relax if I ever feel a bit overwhelmed.
I'm best suited to a home with kids who are 8 years and older. While I've been around younger kids and have been good with them, I think older kids would be a better fit for me as I start this new chapter in my life.
My Favorite Activities:
Playing Tug of War: I absolutely LOVE playing tug of war with a rope toy, especially if there's another dog on the other end. It's so much fun!
Going for Walks: I might be a little timid when we first meet, but I come around quickly, especially if you take me on a walk. I enjoy my walks so much and I'm such a good girl on the leash.
My Personality:
I can be a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'm all in! I thrive on attention and love being around people and other dogs. My sweet and gentle nature makes me a great companion, and I'll quickly become a cherished member of your family.
Are you ready to welcome a loyal and loving friend into your life? If you think we could be a perfect match, let's meet and start our journey together. I can't wait to find my forever home with you! đ¶â€ïž

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
