About Pierre
Bonjour, mes amis! Allow me to introduce myself. I am Pierre, a dashing 10-month-old Staghound cross Catahoula, blessed with a coat as stunning as a sunset over the French Riviera. Envision me as a young French gentleman, brimming with joie de vivre, a zest for adventure, and a heart full of love.
Life is a grand adventure, and I am eager to explore every nook and cranny of it. My spirit is lively and boundless, always ready to embark on new escapades. From the bustling city parks to the tranquil countryside, I long to discover it all. My curiosity knows no bounds, and every day is an opportunity to find new wonders.
I must admit, I have a deep affection for the company of other dogs. Their presence brings me immense joy, and I would be over the moon to have a furry companion to romp around with. Doggy daycare sounds like a dream come true, a place where I can socialize and play to my heart's content. My bouncy, playful nature makes me a joy to be around, though I am still mastering the art of keeping all four paws on the ground. But fear not, for with a bit of training and a few doggy school lessons, I am confident I will blossom into a well-mannered young lad.
I dream of a family with kids who are ready to embrace my exuberance and join me in my outdoor adventures. Imagine us, running through fields, exploring new paths, and making memories that will last a lifetime. My stunning coat and enchanting personality are sure to win the hearts of everyone I meet.
Training will be an essential part of our journey together. Puppy school and a few dog training classes will help me refine my manners and learn to channel my energy in positive ways. I am eager to learn and please, and with your guidance, I will grow into a loyal and loving companion.
My ideal home is one where I can be surrounded by love and understanding, where my playful nature is celebrated, and where I can continue to explore the world with my family. I am Pierre, ze young French dog, waiting for a loving family to guide me and share in the joy of life. Let us embark on this beautiful journey together, creating a lifetime of memories filled with love, adventure, and happiness.
To book a meet and greet with Pierre please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
