About Benji
Introducing Benji, a loving and placid three year old, large breed, Beagle cross Kelpie with so much love to give. Benji is a loyal and gentle boy who loves playing with other dogs, and children. His best friend is our cat, they are always sleeping in the sun snuggled up together. Benji loves to sit on the feet of his favourite people and really enjoys a pat on the ears and big snuggle where he can lay out on top of you.
Benji is not big on playing with toys but he loves swimming and playing with other dogs and going camping. Benji has basic command training, doesn’t destroy gardens or outside items and only poops in one spot, hidden up in the back corner of our block.
Benji is an outside dog who was born on a dairy farm, he was about two years old when his current family had to move to a town block. Benji is a very good jumper and can clear fences of about two metres. This is becoming an issue for his current family as he jumps out of their yard to go and explore. On the farm, Benji was always off lead and with no fences keeping him in, as he has lots of space to run around.
Benji would thrive in a home with another dog or children as playmates, at a house with high fences or a bit of land. Benji is well out of his puppy stage and enjoys spending his days relaxing, he just needs a loving environment where he can be kept safe. If you can provide that home, please send an application in, Benji would love to meet you.
