Joyful Jeena (formerly Precious)

If you follow the page, you might recognize Jeena, although you might not, given just how much she has changed!

Jeena was found 6 weeks ago, running down the side of an isolated patch of highway in the Wheatbelt.
She was close to being hit by the trucks flying past.
She was painfully thin with sores on her body.
She was desperate for help and when her rescuer pulled over Jeena ran to the car and jumped in, gratitude pouring forth from her.

Her beautiful, gentle, resilient nature was immediately evident. There was no doubt, this was a special girl.

We are thrilled to see how she has flourished while in foster care - Jeena has had 2 foster families and both have been so wonderful in their care of her.

Jeena is now looking for a new home - she's ready for adoption, or available for short term foster care.

As her condition has improved and her energy has grown, Jeena has finally realized what it means to play, to run, to be a young exuberant vibrant dog.

At roughly 2.5 years old, she's still a baby herself but has already had at least one litter of puppies - she's now reliving her own puppy hood, which is joyful.

It's apparent that Jeena was kept outside, possibly in a pen or kennel previously.
It didn't take her long to learn to love her creature comforts though! 😉

Jeena has an impeccable nature and is a smart and responsive girl.
She is still learning some house manners (it's hard when you've never been allowed in!) and will thrive with a family dedicated to her welfare and care.

Jeena is believed to be a greyhound mixed with possibly bull Arab.
She's roughly 33kg now that she's a healthy weight
Like most greyhounds, she's a total cough potato with bursts of energy.
She does have an impressive bounciness to her, so requires secure fencing at least 1.8m tall.

Jeena's adoption fee is $480; fostering is FREE!
(Adoption fee includes desexing, microchip, vaccination).
