Alfie is a 17-month-old caramel-coloured Cocker Spaniel who is as sweet as they come. 🍬
This lovable boy has a special way of greeting you at the door—with a plush toy in his mouth 🧸 and an extra wiggly butt that will make you smile every time!
😄 Alfie may think he’s a 15kg lap dog, so be prepared for some cozy cuddles (and maybe a few dead legs!) as he settles in close to you to Netflix and chill. 📺💕
Alfie is not just about looks; he’s also well-behaved. When it’s time for bed, a gentle prompt is all it takes for him to curl up on his own bed 🛏️ and settle in for the night. But don’t let that fool you—he’s full of energy and loves to play! 🎾 A home with a big toy box filled with soft toys and balls would be perfect for him, as one of his favourite pastimes is rummaging through his toys to find just the right one for the occasion. He loves his toys so much that he scatters them throughout the house and yard, making every space his personal playground! 🧸🏡
Now, a heads-up: Alfie barks when meeting new people coming into the house, 🐕 but he settles quickly once he realises they’re friends. He would benefit from further socialisation, but with his love for everyone, it won’t take long for him to feel at ease. 💖
Alfie is super-friendly, human-centric, and food motivated. 🍖 He’s been doing great with his training—walking well on a lead, checking in often, and knowing basic commands like sit, down, stay, and shake. (We’re currently working on “roll over” 🤞).
And let's not forget those morning zoomies—on floorboards, they can sound like an elephant stampede! 🐘 If you don't know it's a dog running around like crazy, throwing toys around, you'd be in for quite the surprise! 😂
Alfie thrives in a home where he can have plenty of company and attention. He loves children, though because of his size and tendency to jump up, a household with older kids might be a better fit. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
