And Penguin is the one for you!

At only 9 months old Penguin has unfortunately had a rough start to life. When little Penguin came into our care everything suggested that she had been abandoned by humans, so we have been working on gaining her trust and ensuring she knows she will soon be the centre of someone's life (and of course that she is already adored by staff here at The Lost Dogs Home).

Penguin is looking for a special home as she is deaf and is still learning how to navigate this big wide world. But don't worry, it doesn't hold her back from living life to it's fullest!

Since being at The Lost Dogs Home Penguin has shown her absolute love of people, despite what she has been through, and that she is very intent on being a lap dog. She in fact gets so excited to see her people that she can just not sit still and wants to give all of the kisses.

Penguin would thrive as the only dog in the home as she has shown that she doesn't like to share her food (and lets be honest, why would you) with other doggos. This doesn't mean she needs to be the only furbaby though and if you have a cat she might just decide she'd like a furry companion.

As a deaf dog, Penguin will need some older humans who will be dedicated to giving her the love and care she deserves and understand that some things make take a little longer for her to learn. Little kids can be a bit scary for dogs like Penguin as she may get startled easily; but as she has shown here she is very adaptable and willing to be the best doggo she can be.
