Playful boy!
- Introducing the wonderful Raven, a playful and loving kitten with infinite cute factor.
- He has an entertaining, cheeky personality with good looks to match. One can get lost in those golden eyes that watch your every move.
- Raven has lots of energy and loves to play with pretty much anything but his favourite are strings and balls. He will entertain himself with anything that moves but really relishes the interaction with his people and foster cat brother.
- He has on occasion even played fetch, returning toys to a person for them to throw again. He will watch the birds and ongoings out the window.
- As an intelligent and energetic kitten, Raven will need stimulating interaction every day. If left to his own devices, he can become bored.
- When he is tired after playing and settling down, Raven loves to cuddle and be near his family and will snuggle up and purr, purr, purr. He's got quite a purr machine and generally is pretty vocal with lots of chirrups. He will meow when he is excited, especially about food, with lots to say at mealtime.
- Raven eats well with a mixed diet of commercial wet and dry food and uses the litter box well. A few scratching posts and scratching mats would be good to have around the house as he does use these.
- He is very clean and his soft beautiful fur is lovely to pet and he enjoys the rubs and cuddles. He doesn't always enjoy being picked up when there is a lot of play to be done but at other times is content to be held and cuddled.
- Raven does have a bit of an interest in house plants and potting mix, so will need to go to a home where non-toxic plants are grown and where people aren't particular about cleaning up when pots are overturned (because a kitten likes exploring cause and effect).
- Raven would be suited to a family with older children who have an interest in playing with him as he thrives on the interaction with others, but an engaged carer could provide the same loving attention. He will likely settle into a house with another cat after a gentle introduction, but is untested with dogs.

SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
