About Buddy
Introducing your next furry friend “Buddy”
Handsome, sweet, and lovable is how we describe Buddy. He is a wonderful little package that will bring so much love and joy to your home. Buddy loves going for walks and having a good old sniff at all the good things, when your nose is close to the ground you get all the best smells. Car rides and adventures are also a thing Buddy loves to do, he will lay down and patiently wait to see where his travels will lead him.
Buddy is good with other dogs and can be quite playful with them too, but he does need slow introduction to the bigger dogs at first to ensure they aren’t going to be too rough with him. He loves people and getting pats and scratches, but young boisterous kids are a bit too much for him, he prefers gentleness and calmness.
You will find Buddy to be the perfect little companion dog who is quite an easy boy to look after. He is house trained, crate trained, loving, and relaxed.
It is a condition in our adoption agreement that all our dogs are to be taken through obedience training to ensure they reach their full potential.
IF YOU CAN TICK ALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have a secure yard.
• Buddy will not be alone for more than 5hrs
• You will enrol Buddy in obedience training.
• You will allow Buddy to be part of the family and will allow him access to indoors with you.
• You WILL provide him with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please provide the name of the obedience club you will be attending.

Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
