About Yogi
Yogi has come from a house with 2 other dogs. His baby mama and daughter.
They were given the bare attention and needs. He does have a slight heart murmur that does not need medication.
He recently had cruciate ligament surgery (7 weeks ago) and doing really well. You wouldn’t think he has had surgery, and don’t tell him!
Yogi is a happy playful, crazy kid. H He loves life and everyone, except big dogs.
He is coexisting with dogs in his foster home and doing well.
He has been to the groomers and we’ve established he does need some type of sedative for the experience. CBD oil or Valium works wonders.
Now to is ‘quirks’
Yogi has anxiety when it comes to the vets and being groomed.
No aggression just total ‘Prima Donna’ behaviour. He squeals and fidgets like his being murdered.
A doggie Valium for these special occasions or CBD oil will help him deal with these infrequent visits.
He just needs some boundaries, routine and love and we believe his behaviour will settle down.
So he needs someone that understands him and willing to show him the love to conquer it.
Yogi would love to be the only dog of the household as he loves loves attention and isn’t a team player in sharing the love. ( just a little grumpy)
He has had his whole life turned upside down the last couple of months with his fur wife and daughter being adopted separately and doing extremely well.
Yogi needs a understanding experienced dog person that understands that he comes with some baggage.
Yogi is on the Gold Coast.

Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
