About Zoe
Zoe is a large Whippet. Her muscular, athletic frame makes her a stunning dog to look at, especially with her beautiful shiny black coat.
Out of the two girls, she is the more anxious around new people. Generally holding back to see what sister Gabby thinks of you first. Once you have her stamp of approval, then Zoe will come in to get her own pat.
Zoe needs more practice walking on a lead. We think she spent most of her life up until now, off leash with her Dad on his two farms. She rides really well in the car and we suspect she probably did quite of bit of that with her previous owner.
Zoe is crate trained and happily sleeps through the night and even happily sleeps in, with no fuss! Zoe is also very clean in the house and holds on until she is taken out for a walk to do her business.
Zoe is bonded to her half sister Gabby, so they must be adopted together.
The perfect home for these girls would be an active person or couple, preferably with some experience with sight hounds. An understanding of their inherent prey drive is essential. Due to their prey drive, they are unsuitable for a home with any kind of small animal, including small dogs. We also would not recommend a home with small children, however older kids would be ok.
Anyone interested in adopting these girls will need to be prepared to travel to the Bega Valley to meet them. If you have an existing dog, you will also need to bring it to meet them as well.
