Saffron

Saffron is the whole package! She is almost a perfect cat - very affectionate and beautiful. She has a tortoiseshell and white fluffy coat, and stunning big green eyes.

We have no idea how such a lovely cat was found homeless on the street with her kitten, but we suspect maybe she was abandoned, since she is too well socialised to have been a stray her whole life.

Saffron has been a firm but fair mumma to baby Nutmeg, teaching her kitty etiquette, and weaning her. She has had enough of mummy duties and will now scold Nutmeg if she wants to suckle her... but then she will groom her to reassure her that she does love her. Saffron is excited her baby has grown so she can gently play with her at times.

Saffron gets along famously with some cats, and dislikes others to the extent of bullying them. If you have another cat, we can offer a trial so you can return Saffron if she is not getting along with your existing cat. She seems to prefer the company of male cats, but this could just be a coincidence.
