Buddy (On Hold)

buddy is a 1 year old border collie x staffy, 18kgs, who has a lovely gentle temperament, comes when called and is a genuinely loyal and happy boy. He is currently learning how to play ball and how to swim without swallowing the water at the same time!. . . Buddy will need good fences as he can jump fairly well, but doesn't run off if he gets out. Just comes around to lie on the front verandah. Buddy travels well and extends his friendliness to all those he comes across. Buddy has proven to be great with other animals and adapts easily into the family. . . . Buddy was recently saved from muswellbrook pound where he was dumped and was to be euthanized that day, so his background is a bit of a mystery. He has been vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, etc and is in good health. . . . Buddy is great with our teenagers, but we don’t have younger ones to test him on. I assume he would be fine. He gets along really well with other dogs. He is not an instigator of issues. He is in the process of being housetrained and is almost there. He sleeps outside in his cozy kennel but likes to come inside for time with us during the day when we're home. . . . He already has good basic obedience training. He doesn't run away if left off the lead and returns when called. He's just learning about playing fetch and all about toys as he doesn't seem to have been exposed to these before. He prefers people and other dogs, rather than inanimate objects. . . . Does he have any particularly cute or endearing or unique behaviours? are you kidding? where to start listing them!. . . . He doesn't bark a lot and doesn't fret when left home alone.
