About Katrina & Nigel
Meet Katrina and Nigel, a bonded mother-and-son duo who are looking for a loving home to spend their golden years. These two are the perfect example of how opposites attract, complementing each other beautifully with their unique personalities.
Katrina, the 8-year-old mama, is shy and reserved. She exhibits a quiet form of affection that is sure to warm your heart. Her gentle purrs and soft nuzzles will be a serene addition to your day, providing a calming presence that effortlessly fits into a tranquil home environment. She's the kind of cat who will sit beside you, serene and content, making you feel at peace with the world.
Nigel, on the other hand, is her affectionate and vocal 7-year-old son. He loves being the center of attention and is always ready to engage. With his charming personality and quirks, he brings a lot of lively energy into any space. Nigel suffers from a bit of FOMO—fear of missing out—so expect him to be involved in whatever you're doing. His loud, loving nature perfectly balances out Katrina's demure demeanor, making them an enchanting pair.
After their beloved owner passed away last year, Katrina and Nigel have been lovingly cared for by a long-term fosterer, but now it's time for them to find a fabulous new family where they can settle down for their mature years. They share a bond that's heartwarming to witness and will bring a special kind of joy into your household.
These two lovely cats are perfect for someone who wants a bit of everything: a calm, affectionate companion in Katrina and an engaging, sociable friend in Nigel. Their combined presence will fill your home with love and contentment. If you're looking for a perfectly balanced duo to enrich your life, Katrina and Nigel are eager to meet you and show you just how wonderful it is to have both calmness and spirited affection in your home.

2. Full application form required to be returned before Bast will contact a prospective adopter (check your messages / email / junk mailbox messages within 24 hours for the form).
-If we don't hear from you we may presume you are no longer interested, so please let us know if you have changed your mind, or adopted another kitty.
-Bast Team will only allow cats to be adopted who are given the best care, and this starts with their food. Our adopters must choose Vet food (Hills/ Royal Canin) only.
-Please ensure that you have written landlord approval to have a pet before enquiring.
-Please message us on the cat or cats you are interested in and we will ask you to fill in an adoption form and send it back to us, so we can get the relevant details from you.
3. Phone conversation IF your application has met the needs of this cat(s) from our team lead.
4. Meet and Greet with cat or kitten
5. Adoption (with trial period - contact Bast Team should there be any issues, even years in the future)
-All adoptions are subject to a settling in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, we ask you contact us, rather than dropping the kitties off at a shelter or another organisation.
Please note we are a volunteer run, small organisation so please be patient with us, and understand that with some of our kitties, we get several responses, and if you are not successful with a kitty you applied for, perhaps you are more suited to another of our kitties.
Thank you
