About Teapot
Teapot was found in terrified in a puddle and was run over by a car, behind a cafe in Malvern on the kings birthday long weekend. After an emergency vet visit, he came into care with CPoM as an emergency and was traumatised, dirty and sick. He was named teapot because he was short and stout, and his appetite was that of a starved kitten.
Two months later Teapot a healthy, more confident, super playful loving little guy. Still has an excellent appetite and still skittish at times, he has filled out and looks more like a cat and less like a stuffed toy with a grumpy cat face.
Teapot’s gorgeous tabby striped & white markings, his eyeliner and his soft soft fur are so beautiful. He’s growing into a very handsome little cat!
Teapot has learned confidence from his foster siblings and whatever they do, he copies. Cuddles with foster mum in the morning? Teapot is right in there saying me too! He’s even started coming and asking for cuddle time of his own accord which makes us very happy. There is one thing Teapot does that is unique to him… he’s a champion bed pouncer! Any movement under the doona and he’s onto it, even when there is not sometimes. He bounds all over the bed with joyful exuberance and is very entertaining. Teapot is actually a toy fiend. He loves toys he loves to collect them. He loves to steal them. He loves to play with them. You can usually find most of his toy collection on the bed. Then off the bed. Then on the bed again. He’s a very busy little cat!
Teapot would be well suited to a house with a cat that needs a play partner and bestie. Teapot loves other cats. Sometimes they love him back, sometimes not so much 😹 Teapots besties in his foster home are big sister Mariah Catty, brother Mario and scaredy brother Ned Astair. If you don’t have a cat at home already Teapot would love to adopted with one of his friends.
