About Brody
The time has finally come for young Brody to find his forever family. This young fella has been in care since he was 6 weeks old after being found dumped on the side of the road, malnourished, cold and wet, he was so tiny, it's hard to comprehend the rough start he had. Due to being so malnourished Brody had a preventable condition called Rickets which required more intensive care then your average pup. The good news is Rickets is reversible with a high quality food, and controlled and reduced movements for a period of time.
5 months on and Brody has now been given the all clear. He is now a playful happy trusting pup that just loves being with people He also has a very funny and mischievous personality which always has us giggling. Brody enjoys playing with his toys, chasing a ball, he also likes to chase the water out of the hose, going to bunnings and the beach and for walks down the st but his most favourite thing in the world is being with his people.
Brody has spent the last 5 months living with 3 other dogs and a cat, which he has loved, but a home with other pets is not essential for Brody as long as his family have plenty of time to spend with him.
While in care Brody has been working on his basic commands like sit, healing to your left and to wait for his food. Brody is highly motivated by food and responds best to positive praise, with this approach training sessions are made easier and enjoyable.
Brody spends his days outside and his evenings inside, he is also crate trained and enjoys sleeping in his crate at night. Brody is still working on his toilet training with the occasional accident inside but is definitely starting to get the concept.
This special boy will slot nicely into most homes, whether it's a family a couple or an individual looking for a mate. Brody requires an owner who has the time to continue his training and to ensure effort is put into mental and physical stimulation so he can continue to develop into the best dog he can be.
If Brody sounds like the boy for you, then please fill in an expression of interest application which is linked below.
