Once upon a time, Brandy arrived at our shelter as a stray, carrying a gentle and timid spirit. She's a sweet soul who needs a little time to adjust, so a cozy, small room to start in will help her feel secure before exploring larger spaces.
Brandy dreams of a home with scratching posts, cat trees, and plenty of hiding spots like cardboard boxes and cat igloos. High and low safe spaces around the house will make her feel right at home.
The perfect family for Brandy will be patient and understanding. She may take time to show her true personality, so teens or older children who can read cat body language and respect her space will be ideal. Brandy might also do well with a calm dog, as long as interactions are monitored.
Despite her shyness, Brandy has already shown affection at the shelter with gentle bunts and stretches. She loves roast chicken and enjoys some quality conversation.
