Ready for adoption
'Lily'♀️
Black labrador
Born Aug 2020
MC 956000006150326
source number RE147928
Adoption fee $500
Sadly Lily was surrendered to CARMAR after the passing of 2 of her beloved family members.
Lily was used to being arround her humans and best cat buddy 24/7.
So it has been a big adjustment for her over the last month or so as she has had to learn to deal with lots of new routines and new humans and new dogs & cat mates while in CARMAR foster care.
But Lily is a champion and has taken it in her stride, with her sweet natured style, always so very gentle and very polite.
She is currently sharing the house happily with foster carers own dogs, foster cats, and sleeping inside on big old comfy couch, although she has snuck onto her foster carers bed a few times to snooze with her human and a few foster cats!
Lily has been such a delight.
Fully house-trained, walks well on lead, mastered all her comands and has good recall.
A little gentle jealously if she's not get equal attention but she is not aggressive at all.
Lily is also loving her twice daily walks on the lead or a run and swim down by the River.
She enjoys car travel with the wind in her face through the window.
Lily loves any attention she can get and loves to sit with you on the couch or sleep on your bed if you let her!
Lily loves her food, but eats gently and doesn't guzzle her food.
We are trying to broaden her palate to help her loose weight as Our Vet has put her on a fresh food diet and plenty of exercise to loose atleast 8kg.
She currently weighs 40+kg...whoops, but that's a Labrador for you!
Thankfully Lily is thoroughly loving her twice daily exercise, so we have no issues with her getting back into shape very soon.
We are searching for a family or retired couple who will be home 24/7 ideally with resident friendly dogs or cats and or who will take Lily with them if they travel.
She doesn't like being alone but is happy with dog buddies in the backyard.
Lily is not a fan of thunder either but is happy inside if storms are about.
Having said that She is brilliant inside your home by herself. No accidents, no chewing.no mischief. She is the pawfect pet pooch just waiting for her next and hopefully final furrever home.
If you think you can give Lily all the love, attention and inclusive environment then please click on her Petrescue link below and send us your EOI today!
