About Ranger
Sweet boy Ranger is looking for his new home, could this be with you?
He can be a little shy when first meeting new people but once he gets to know you he’s all cuddles and love.
Ranger enjoys playing with other dogs being that chasing them around the yard, playing tug of war or a good game of bites face.
He likes to chew on things so we suggest having a good selection of toys available and some long chews like goats horns.
Ranger is getting better in the crate and while he may take a minute to get in he will sleep the night away like a good boy.
Further training is suggested with this boy, although he is smart he still needs work on lead and will need more socialising.
He doesn’t mind going for drives (once in the car), will hog the couch if allowed up and is an all round good boy who aims to impress.

* Please note, this is not a contract or agreement of any kind, only expression of interest in our dog. We will not conduct any meet and greets unless this form has been filled out and submitted for review. Only approved applicants will get to meet our dogs. *
Once approved you will be contacted by a team member and can organise a time best suited to meet with the carer and dog. If you have other dogs they must also be at the meeting, including any children in the immediate family.
Before applying please consider the following:
• real estate approval if renting
• any fencing repairs that may need to be done
• outside shelter
• breed knowledge
• do you have enough time for the breed of dog you are applying for?
If you and the dog get along, you have to option of taking the dog on the spot (at this time you will need to pay the full adoption price and sign the adoption agreement) You will then get a 2-week trial with the dog, during this time should things not work out you are to return the dog to Dusty Paws Dog Rescue. You will then receive a full refund; less $50 admin fee within 7 business days of the return of the dog.

Please also keep in mind that we are a volunteer run rescue which means we don’t have someone manning the phone 24/7, we all work full time jobs and get back to your calls and messages as soon as we can. We thank you for your time and patients with us.
