Maya is a sweet 6 ½ year-old lady with lots of love to give, and she’s on the lookout for her forever home where someone is home most of the time.

Maya is incredibly social and loves being around people and kids. She enjoys the simple pleasures in life, like sitting in the sun, playing in the water, and drinking from the garden hose.

Maya is great on a lead, enjoys car rides and gets along well with other dogs.

She has a few adorable quirks that make her even more lovable—if it’s raining, she hates getting her paws wet and will wait patiently at the back door for you to dry them. If you’re at the fridge putting ice in your drink, Maya will sit beside you and wait for a piece of ice – how cute!

Maya prefers to stay indoors if it’s too cold or too hot, often lounging on her bed by the window where she can watch the world go by. Thunderstorms make her nervous, so she’ll need to be inside where she feels safe and secure.

Maya is toilet trained, very obedient, and knows basic commands like sit, stay, drop it, and go to bed. While she’s not a fan of crates or the hairdryer, she absolutely loves being washed and towel-dried after a fun day outside.
