About Rosie
In the heart of Australia, where over 30,000 horses train tirelessly for a profitable racing career, many face harsh realities. Bound by cruel training methods and confined to small stables, their journey often begins with pain. For those who donโt meet racing standards, their fate is uncertain, with many ending up in knackeries or slaughterhouses. Mares, in particular, are often used in breeding programs, producing foals subjected to the same harsh conditions if deemed suitable for racing.
Rosieโs story mirrors this sad reality. Once a racehorse, Rosie later became a broodmare, isolated and used for breeding. When she was no longer needed, she was abandoned along with 20 other horses. Thankfully, Rosieโs life took a turn for the better when a kind soul rescued her, providing a nurturing environment where she began to trust humans again.
Rosieโs journey is one of resilience and strength. Her past has made her cautious and reserved, wary of human touch due to a lack of love and care. Her current family, facing a property sale and relocation, reached out to find Rosie a loving home where she could continue to grow in trust and affection.
๐๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐:
Rosie is a sweet but shy mare, driven by trust and the need for a gentle bond. With patience and tender care, Rosieโs true nature shines through. She is intuitive, sensing the authenticity of those around her. While initially hesitant, her food motivation becomes a gateway to her heart. Over time, she starts seeking moments of connection, showing her softer side when unwell and craving comfort.
Rosieโs maternal instincts are heartwarming. She adores watching over baby animals, from foals to lambs, protecting and nurturing them as if they were her own. She shares a special bond with the sheep she currently lives with, always looking out for them. Ideally, Rosie would be happiest if adopted into a home with lots of other animals.
๐๐๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐:
Rosie thrives in the company of other animals, especially horses. Her ideal home is one where she isnโt alone, surrounded by companions who provide patience and understanding. A family willing to invest time into building a strong bond will find a loyal and gentle companion in Rosie.
If you have a heart full of patience and a home with room for Rosie, we invite you to open your life to this incredible mare. Reach out to us to learn more about Rosie and start the journey of offering her the forever home she deserves. Your compassion can transform her life, giving her a second chance to thrive as a cherished companion.
